Corrections Courses
Cell Extraction Training for Corrections | 8-16 Hours
Will discuss methods of performing inmate extractions from single cell and tank settings. Team concepts and tactics will be presented Practical application of cell extraction techniques will be video taped and discussed.
Prostraint Chair Training | 4 Hours
Will cover the use of the Prostraint Chair and the liabilities surrounding its use. Proper placement into the chair and required follow up will be discussed. Each student will be placed into the chair and place another student into the chair using the proper techniques.
Less Lethal Weapons Training | 8-16 Hours
Will cover the use of the 37mm weapons and the different 12 gauge shotgun devices. Each student will shoot a qualification course using these weapons. The liabilities surrounding the use of these weapons will be discussed.
Diversionary Device Course | 8 Hours
Will qualify the student to deploy a light/sound diversionary and/or a stingball device. Instruction will include nomenclature of each device, its effects on the human body and the liabilities when using such devices. Each student will successfully deploy these devices during a practical exercise.
